Regional Director Retreat Recap!

Here are the notes/recap from our Dec. 19th Regional Director Retreat. Much of the retreat was spent in discussion and networking, so there wasn’t as much to recap with regards to notes, but decisions and topics discussed are included.

We are looking at a couple of things that we want to change for the academic year 2011-2012, including budgets, how we communicate (Salesforce Chatter rather than Google Groups), and the use of our Regions website.

Additionally, it is very important that we know in the next few weeks whether or not you are still willing to commit to the role of Regional Director for your campus. If you are a relatively new RD and would like help planning your socials or getting in touch with your students, please let me know! I’m happy to help!

Lastly, our Regions website is up and much of what is available there is for your use to share with your students, so please take advantage! The website is http://regions.southcentralscholars.org/home. A link to the PPT attached will also be available. Starting this year, our retreats will be held in the summer to get as many people involved as possible while you are home in LA, and will make it more manageable as a webinar as well to get maximum attendance, so please stay tuned!
